I've been creating since before I knew what creativity was.

As a kid I never built the Lego set the way the box said to. I always had something different in mind. Something that felt more like mine. That instinct never left.

When I was about 12 my father handed me a camera for the first time at a family gathering. I wasn't trying to make art - I was just trying to hold onto a moment. But something clicked that day that I've never been able to explain. The idea that you could freeze time. Capture an emotion. Make someone feel something just by pointing a lens at the right thing at the right moment. I've been chasing that feeling ever since.

My brother taught me how to actually see. Not just look - but see. He'd slow everything down on our walks through the neighborhood. Pointing out the way a leaf was shaped, or the way the afternoon sun hit the side of a building on a quiet Bronx street. He taught me that beauty isn't somewhere else. It's right here. You just have to pause long enough to find it.

We're from the Bronx. And we'll say that proudly every time.

The Bronx has given the world more culture than it gets credit for. We grew up in a borough that people underestimate - and we built a studio that reflects what we know to be true about where we come from. That excellence lives here. That vision lives here. That hunger lives here.
